Curly Koa Cabinet/Budsudan
This cabinet/Butsudan is made of Maui grown curly koa with aromatic camphor drawers lined with premium velvet. The drawer knobs are made from wenge.
The dark top, and bottom of the cabinet is walnut which has been ebonized. This is a process by which vinegar and steel wool has been mixed and the solution brushed onto the Walnut to darken the wood.
The interior of the doors are Koa which has also been ebonized.
Hawaiian Koa is a cherished grained hardwood grown only in the Hawaiian Islands. It is prized for its beauty, rarity and high quality.
